The four of us will be on court at Brampton Heath, playing padel for a full 24 hours straight, with friends, family and people from the local community rotating in to play with us along the way. It’s going to be tough, a bit chaotic at times, and will definitely push us! Any and all support is welcome!
We’re doing it as part of our London Marathon fundraising for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. It’s a charity that means a huge amount to us personally, and padel felt like a great way to bring people together while raising money and awareness at the same time.
We’ll need all the support we can get across the 24 hours — whether that’s jumping on court for a game, popping down to watch for a bit, getting involved in the quiz or raffle, or donating if you can’t be there on the day. Every bit of support really helps, especially in the tougher overnight hours.
The 24-hour challenge is split into 2-hour playing slots that you can book in advance.
Alongside the padel, we’ll also be running a quiz and raffle on the Friday evening as part of the event. The quiz will be open to anyone who fancies getting involved, and the raffle will feature prizes donated by local businesses, with all proceeds going directly to the MND Association. It should be a really good social part of the weekend and a nice way for people to support the fundraiser even if they’re not playing padel. If you’re interested in getting involved, entering a team, or donating a raffle prize, please drop us an email at 24hourpadel@gmail.com
We’re asking for a £20 per player donation, which goes directly to the fundraiser.
You don’t need to book through Brampton Heath — all bookings are handled directly through us.
Once you’ve pencilled in your slot, please make your donation using the links provided.
Your slot will only be confirmed once the donation has been received, so please make sure you complete that final step.
